Been busy, but not crazy busy! I finally purchased one large art piece to go along with some smaller metal art to hang by out at the hot tub. That was a missing piece. I want my guests to have beautiful surroundings at every turn her at Your Private Adobe. I will soon have some (2) outdoor chaise lounge chairs and be set-up for outdoor massages, and possibly even overnights in the Moroccan Tent. I love sleeping outdoors, and I know my guests would too. Luxury camping so to speak right in the heart of Albuquerque.

Dinner Package & Spa Treatments for ABQ Couple's

When was the last time you kissed your lover, gazed at them in the eyes, said how beautiful they are, and told them that you love them? When was the last time you cuddled under a throw, smooched on the couch and held hands with your lover? To me, these are simple pleasures of life, but so often we don't take time to indulge. For whatever reason, we just don't do enough of this. I believe the world would be a happier place if more couples just snuggled and communicated! I really feel that in this busy and hectic world in which we live in today, so many couples don't have time to spend with one another. They are negligent in having any quality time alone. Many couples can't spend the night away, due to small children, or a family pet, or due to financial or work constraints.

So I have had this idea for some time and finally it has come to fruition. I offer a truly unique package to the spa industry at Your Private Adobe in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's a special couples pacakge. At most spas, the men go the the men's area and change. The ladies go the ladies area and change. They then meet in a small massage room and get a massage at the same time. This is usually the extent of their couple's spa session. I wanted to offer something different, where couples could have time to actually be a couple.

So for my Couples Odyssey, you'll get pampered beyond belief in a luxurious and private home spa setting. First you'll change into comfy robe and slippers and enjoy a beverage of choice. Next a relaxing and nurturing his and her foot soak. Your feet will start to tingle, the aromas of the herbs, sea salts and essential oils will intoxicate you. Next simultaneous body polishes and massages, and a chance to shower together. Then you'll have a couple of other options. You can spend time alone as a couple in the adobe. Maybe you'll want to cuddle on the "indoor lounger" for two, or perhaps you'll want to go outside in the Moroccan Tent for a little whimsical pleasure all light up in the evening sky. Or maybe you'll want to soak in the outdoor hot tub. Your other option is to order in a advance a private, catered dinner served in courses. Chef Karen will prepare your dinner while you are getting spa treatments. In good weather, you'll dine Al Fresco. Or if your not a fan of outdoor dining, you may use the adobe's private dining room. You'll still be given time to indulge in the above activities, plus enjoy a delicious dinner too. After an afternoon or evening of pampering and bonding you'll have a new appreciation of the simple pleasures of life that spending time with your lover can bring to surface.

I'm so excited! I've interviewed 4-wonderful potential massage therapists to help me with the business on an independent contractor basis. They all will be great additions to Your Private Adobe! All I need now is more clients!

Today I got signed up with a film resource company. They provide referrals to the filming industry. The adobe may even get to be used as a film set. That would be fun and profitable. More brochures need to be ordered. I went though 250 over sized postcards in 3-weeks.

I have found a delightful personal chef to do my catered couples dinners. We have a great menu lined up. Almond Crusted Tilapia, Stuffed Chicken Breast, a New Mexican Combo Plate, Beef Wellington and tapas are all the menu choices! The Couple's Spa and Dinner Package lasts approximately 3-hours. Your Private Adobe welcomes and encourages couples to visit the retreat. In our fast paced world, many couples no longer have the time or the budget for a luxurious weekend retreat. Within the adobe is the deluxe Couples Suite for pampering, romance, and relaxation. Another therapist will assist as we simultaneously massage the two of you for a 75-Minute massage using various techniques and styles. Your skin will feel rejuvenated after the citrus body polishes with the opportunity to rinse off together, or separately, depending on your comfort level, in the over-sized shower. Time is given (indoor and outdoor) for you to relax and bond as a couple over a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne. Or you may bring your own alcoholic beverage. For you to take home, a bottle of aromatic massage oil and an instructional pamphlet on how to give one another a sensual massage.

Sick kitty, and manifesting my dreams

Just curious if anyone has discovered my blog yet? I had a pretty good following when I use to write elsewhere.

I had to take my cat to the vet today. He is okay, but it always so so upsetting when they can't tell you what is wrong with them. He got 2-enemas and is still one pissed off kitty!

I have had one busy week and today I had no appointments The one I had got cancelled due to an illness and the other one, I cancelled because of the cat. I am usually very dependable and can count in 8-years the times I have needed to cancel an appointment.

I have been working on my business plan. I have an appointment with my banker next week. I am trying to get a little more money to tide me over so I can do some additional improvements on the adobe. I've gone through my reserves quickly! I really want a hot tub now. It will be such a nice edition to the couples massages as well as the normal massage packages. The Moroccan tent is a huge success and this will just add to the entire experience. I am also going to be offering catered, private, served dinners too. I just have so much going on, it's exciting.

We'll I'm beat and going to go to bed early. I continue to read more on tantra, a lifestyle for me of conscious awareness and the path to enlightenment. I am trying to manifest my dreams through the opening of my chakras, meditation, prayer and intention. I read at night.
